The 2013 season was a stellar one for Jordan Jnr and also for his father, Mike, the Eurotech Racing boss. In addition to his outright BTCC championship victory, Andy collected a fistful of additional awards including the BTCC independents trophy, Autosport magazine National Driver of the Year, BRDC John Cobb Trophy for the best performance by a British driver, the BRDC Colin Chapman Trophy for team spirit performance of the season and the Guild of Motoring Writers Driver of the Year title.

Eurotech was honoured also, receiving the Teamwork prize during the MIA’s annual Business Excellence Awards, in recognition of the squad’s achievements. The award, selected by leading industry figures, was won against some stiff opposition, not least the Red Bull Racing Grand Prix team and the works Aston Martin sports car team.

“CBT has supported the career of Andy Jordan right from his very first days,” said CBT co-founder William Burnett, “and we couldn’t be more delighted with the professional way he has developed as a racing driver. His BTCC title victory will be the first of many accolades, I are sure. CBT is more than pleased to be supporting Andy and the team again in 2014 for his title defence.”
